Given the amount of time (and cash) Clara and Jeff spend at the local comic book shop, it seemed fitting to feature the digs in our comic. Mad props to Brahm and the rest of the Heroes staff for getting us shamelessly addicted to the graphic novels: if you need a place to get great comics, Heroes is your best bet in London.

Also, we weren’t even paid to say that, so you KNOW it’s true.

Comics on the featured rack:
(linked to Amazon, but buy from Brahm at Heroes)

Essex County
The Escapists
Cuba, My Revolution
Ex Machina Vol 9: Ring Out the Old
DMZ Vol 4: Friendly Fire

New backbone, new layout!

As you may or may not have noticed, we’ve been having some problems with the website, starting about a month ago. Just before leaving for Barcelona an update came down the chute for Webcomics, a wordpress plugin we’d been using to deploy the site. Unfortunately, this update has been nothing but problems, causing down-time and missing comics with no fixes in sight as the author of the plugin is on semi-permanent hiatus.

In honour of the 2nd Season of Cripz, launching on Wednesday, we decided now was as good a time as ever to move over to a new plugin to manage our comic, ComicPress! After an afternoon of tinkering and coding, the new and improved Cripz website is now online with more changes to come over the next few weeks.

Sorry for all the problems throughout August and we hope you dig the new layout and the new season.

See you on Wednesday!
