Have you ever noticed how City Hall seems to always, subtly and not so subtly, pit issues against each other? Oh, they’d love to put more money into the LTC, but those environmentalists just haaaaad to have their compost program. Sorry about your luck little Timmy.

If Jeff is ever Mayor, he’s going to stop the jig and just have special interest groups fight it out for real, with weapons, in Victoria Park for all of our amusement. It’ll be like Rome, except we’ll never fall.

Never.

Oh and incase you didn’t get the memo, GO SEE A FRINGE SHOW YOU ROTTEN, FILTHY ANIMALS!

Friends Don't Let Friends Make Music

Have you ever met one of those people who goes on and on about how they want to learn how to play music and think they’d be a great musician but never do anything to advance their musical skills? Yea, Jeff is one of those people. Tune in next week though to hear Griff’s revolutionary song. It promises to be ear-bleeding-inducing.

In other news, Clara and Jeff are once again a part of the Visual Fringe Festival at The Arts Project (on Dundas St, just west of Central Library). Be sure to check out (and buy, please buy) some of our original art work over the next week and swing by to say hello as Clara and Jeff will be in the gallery both Thursday night for the opener and on Sunday evening working the booth!

Come check out Visual Fringe!

Just a gentle reminder that your time to see our exhibit in Visual Fringe is quickly running out! If you haven’t yet, head down to the Arts Project to see some Cripz artwork in real life (as opposed to fake Internet life), including the original paintings and drawings used to create the comic. These original pieces are for sale at an extremely reasonable price so you can own a piece of Cripz history, but you better hurry because there is only one piece left available. Thank you to everyone who has purchased pieces so far–your money will go a long way to preventing Clara and Jeff from dying of starvation…or scurvy. Goooo oranges! On a semi-related note, you should seriously go check out the plays going on this year at the Fringe Festival. The talent is unparalleled and we have yet to see a play that wasn’t 100% entertaining. Support local artists and check it out before it’s too late.

Also, keep an eye out post-Fringe, as we will be opening a very modest Merch Shop here at cripz.ca where you can get your hands on some Cripz swag.

Oh and PS: every wish Clara happy birthday, it was yesterday. Hurray for birthdays!
