Love is in the air. Love is in the air everywhere I look around. Love is in the air every sight and every sound. Doobie doobie doo. Jeff is not ashamed to admit that he had to look up those lyrics because he doesn’t actually know the song word for word. So another week another episode. This week is a special one because it’s our LONGEST episode yet and itfinally introduces the 3rd crucial main character of this ensemble. Kate, that cute and quiet girl next door, has finally made her first appearance and be ready to see a lot more of her going forward. Exciting times indeed.
Kate would like you all to know that in this episode she is wearing a Dinosaur Comics t-shirt, thrifted suspenders, and a Marc Jacobs Zipper Necklace. She’s a trendy girl like that. She’ll keep you updated on all her fashion choices in future episodes.
Two big shout-outs in this week’s episode. First and foremost, holla to Heroes, the local comic book shop. Jeff has spent far, far too much time and money at this place. If you ever want to find a new and awesome comic head over to Heroes, ask for Brahm and let him know we sent you: he’ll hook you up.
A second big shout-out to Ryan North of Dinosaur Comics, who does some really, really awesomely hilarious things about sexy dinosaurs. Check it out.
Anyway, we’d write more here, but we’re both tired. Clara had her last exam on Monday (schooooools…out…for…the summer) and Jeff has now had two days of full work days (since when was there an 8am??). As a result, we’re going to bed early. Huzzah!
Enjoy the new episode and we’ll see you in the funny pages,
Clara & Jeff
